Pathology Reports

FNApath offers endocrinologists, thyroidologists and ENT physicians performing fine needle aspirations a thorough report with adequacy, interpretation and microscopic description. Because we specialize in head and neck pathology, we see hundreds of cases per month. This volume of work allows our pathologist to obtain a level of expertise unmatched by most local laboratories.

Our reports follow the standardized consensus guidelines set forth by organizations such as the American Thyroid Association. The consistency provided by our reports will remove confusion created by individual pathologist terminology. A statement of sample adequacy, a concise interpretation, and a microscopic description will give you all the information needed to provide your patients with the best possible results.

FNApath realizes that time is important in your busy practice, so we have made our process as convenient as possible. Our system is simple; we will provide everything you need from the slides and fixatives to the mail packaging. Many of our clients find it easier to send their FNAs to us from across the nation than to their local pathology laboratory. You simply place the FNA slides and rinse into the mailer and call Fedex.

We will have the results of your FNA faxed to your office within 3 business days from the time it left your office.

Our experience has found that by just sending your FNAs to an experienced FNA pathologist your number of unsatisfactory biopsies will drop. If you would like to take things a step further, we can train you and your staff to determine adequacy in your office.
